Job summary

BMO is expanding with a De Novo branch, seeking a Bank Manager to launch and grow the location from day one. You will lead and coach staff to deliver exceptional service, drive referrals, and develop a local client base aligned with regulatory requirements.

You will build a branch business plan, foster cross-functional collaboration, and cultivate community relationships to maximize revenues and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• In-depth knowledge of branch operations, policies, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guides, directs, and coaches employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
• Develops and executes a branch business plan to maximize growth, wallet share and customer retention.
• Builds relationships in the community and networks to generate referrals and new business.
• Offers tailored financial solutions and facilitates cross-sell opportunities while adhering to regulatory requirements.
