Job description

Provide mid-level analytic expertise to DCSA OSINT Analysis by reviewing submitted packages to confirm they meet basic submission requirements and by providing direction and support to customers who need to correct package errors or ask status questions. The analyst also produces RIRs by conducting all-source research using public, private, U.S. Government, and foreign government open-source materials, then evaluating the information against established DCSA risk indicators. The analyst assesses foreign and domestic publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights for defense intelligence requirements. EV is responsible for producing timely, relevant, and actionable triage, business, and security-focused due diligence research, reporting, analysis, risk management products, recommendations, and decisions to evaluate risk and FOCI; negotiate and sustain risk management strategies and FOCI action plans; and provide end-to-end management support for these processes. CI supports these processes through its Threat Integration Branch (TIB), which provides timely, relevant, and actionable threat reports that help EV decision-makers determine prudent actions in a particular case.

  • Develop analytical products that effectively articulate threats.
  • Demonstrate analytic integrity, rigor, and tradecraft standards by adhering to applicable IC Directives and DoD Instructions.
  • Produce analytic products within established time.
  • Disseminate intelligence information to customers and stakeholders.
  • Some locations may require local travel within the U.S.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
