Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of hands-on process control, automation, and project management experience.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS/SCADA systems and field instrumentation.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings; experience with project contractors.

Responsibilities

• System design: specify control architectures (PLCs, DCS, HMIs, SCADA).
• Virtualization: determine VM requirements and relocation needs.
• Instrumentation: select field sensors, transmitters, valves per process.
• Field walkthroughs with vendors for mounting and equipment specs.
• Documentation: maintain P&IDs, loop sheets, FDS, and electrical schematics.
• Programming: oversee control system programming and tuning.
• Commissioning & testing: lead FAT and SAT activities.
• Construction oversight: coordinate with bidders and site teams; ensure safety.
• Startup support: direct on-site commissioning; handover to maintenance.
• Continuous improvement: analyze and upgrade existing systems.
