Job summary

DLH Corp is seeking a DCGS-N Configuration Management Specialist III to lead enterprise GitOps architecture, design automated release strategies, and codify Navy CM policy into pipeline guardrails. The role drives migration from legacy CM tools.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, IaC, SBOM tooling, and cryptographic signing, plus an active Secret Clearance for Navy programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 10 years of professional experience or Bachelor's with 14 years in contract management supporting FAR and DoD 5000 series requirements.
• Experience coordinating Industry Days; reviewing procurement documents and CDRLs; obligations/expenditures tracking and deliverables management.
• Ability to attain Cyber Security Workforce IAM I designation within 30 days; Navy program experience; data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern end-to-end software media generation processes (gold-disk/ISO, OCI bundles, air-gapped release tarballs).
• Establish cryptographic signing (Cosign/Sigstore), SHA-256 checksums, SBOMs; define custody and transfer procedures for tamper-proof distribution to Navy DCGS-N nodes.

Overview

The DCGS-N Configuration Management Specialist leads enterprise GitOps architecture, designs automated CI/CD release strategies, codifies Navy CM policy into pipeline guardrails (policy-as-code), and drives the technical migration away from legacy CM tools (e.g., CMPro).

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern the end-to-end software media generation process (e.g., gold-disk/ISO creation, OCI container artifact bundling, air-gapped release tarballs).
• Establish cryptographic signing (Cosign/Sigstore), SHA-256 checksum verification, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation for all deployable media. Define the Software Media Custody and Transfer procedures to ensure tamper-proof distribution to tactical afloat/ashore DCGS-N nodes.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with10 years of professional experience or Bachelors degree with 14 years of professional experience providing contract management support that includes drafting/reviewing procurement-related documents in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), associated supplements, and DOD 5000 series requirements.
• Experience includes, but is not limited to, coordinating Industry Days; reviewing/draft procurement documents: Market Research Reports, Work Statements, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), DD-254s, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Determinations & Findings; preparing Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters/Technical Instructions, tracking obligations/expenditures, and tracking deliverables.
• Individual shall have or be able to attain within 30 Days of assignment the Cyber Security Workforce IAM I designation. Individual shall have experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations. Experience with data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives and automate report generation.
• GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes Agents, ArgoCD/Flux, Terraform/IaC, Helm/Kustomize, Linux, Navy CM governance (MIL-HDBK-61A), Cryptographic Signing/SBOM tooling (Cosign, Syft, Grype), ISO/Disk image mastering.
• Active Secret Clearance walking through the door
