Job summary

Equinox Fitness Club in Washington, DC is seeking Yoga Instructors to deliver exceptional classes to our members. Candidates should possess a current certification in yoga, experience in teaching, and CPR/AED certification. Responsibilities include monitoring class intensity, ensuring timely starts and finishes, and communicating effectively with management.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current certification in their discipline.
• Experience in teaching is required.
• CPR/AED certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.
• Adhere to and modify class intensity as needed.
• Monitor exercise intensity throughout the class duration.
• Ensure class begins and ends on time.
• Teach respective classes regularly, minimizing substitutions.
• Communicate with the Group Fitness Manager regarding feedback and scheduling.

Skills

Current certification in yoga discipline

Experience teaching

Current CPR/AED certification

Knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology
