Reliable Sprinkler Co. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Romeoville, IL to support DC operations and the DC Manager in daily warehouse activities. The role emphasizes supervising staff, monitoring productivity, cost controls, and driving improvements in a safe environment.

The mid-shift position runs Monday through Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm, with responsibilities including coaching, training, and reporting on production metrics as part of the distribution team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of distribution warehouse experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high visibility and floor supervision to ensure production, accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Mentor and train a staff of about 15 warehouse associates; conduct reviews and training.
• Analyze daily workload in WMS.
• Prepare and review monthly production reports.
• Direct distribution staff in receiving, inventory integrity, picking and shipping.
• Direct Shipping Clerks to ensure WMS assignments align with shipping standards.
• Ensure daily cut-off times and fulfillment rates meet goals and objectives.
• Provide ongoing training on product knowledge, error tracking, and performance reviews.
• Maintain open communication with management, staff, and customers.
• Report problems to Manager promptly.
• Conduct end-of-shift review of WMS paperwork and shipping dock.
