Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a DC/Warehouse Associate to support receiving, picking, packing, and staging parts within the distribution center. You will use RF scanners, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and maintain organized, hazard-free work areas.

The role requires working on various shifts with overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed; attendance must be reliable. You will also read safety rules and procedure manuals and interact with the RF system to record activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Mark pallets with identifying store information.
• Uses the computer / RF to enter records.
• Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
• Uses voice picking system
• Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.
• Will be required to use a hand held radio frequency device (R.F. Unit).
• Consistent, reliable attendance.
