Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager in Redlands, CA to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of Distribution Center Associates.

You will ensure safe, efficient receiving, storage, packing and shipping in line with company policies, while driving performance and engagement across shifts. Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of leadership in high-volume distribution, plus experience with warehouse management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.
• Experience using MS Office Suite.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Position OverviewAs the Distribution Center (DC) Area Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of warehouse operations, while leading a team of Distribution Center Associates in efficiently and effectively executing shipping / receiving responsibilities safely, productively and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
