Target in Fontana, CA seeks a Security Specialist to safeguard team members, guests, and merchandise at our distribution/retail site. The role involves yard and perimeter patrols and responding to incidents with composure and urgency.

You must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Prior security experience is preferred but not required, with on-the-job training for de-escalation techniques.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond quickly and stay calm during crisis situations.
• Possesses and maintains a valid driver's license for state employed.
• Able to prioritize tasks and remain composed in a fast-paced environment, accomplishing multiple tasks within established times independently.
• Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to operate technology systems with minimal direction after training.
• Reliable and prompt attendance.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to be trained and act on de-escalation tactics.
