Job summary

MP Nexlevel, LLC is seeking a Regional Safety Leader to supervise safety on data center projects across a geographic region. You will direct safety activities, develop policies, and drive compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting operations.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to review safety plans, and a willingness to travel. Weekend work and self-motivation are essential as part of a dynamic field safety environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years field safety experience.
  • BS degree in Safety or Health related field desired.
  • CUSP safety certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation and General Liability claim processes.
  • Able to communicate technical information to field personnel as well as executive management.
  • Demonstrated ability to review contractor’s health and safety plans.
  • Can react calmly in emergency situations and work effectively with other people.
  • Must be available to work some weekends.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Technical efficiency & knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct safety in a geographic region on data center projects; provide leadership and management of safety activities.
  • Lead development, implementation and administration of safety policies and training programs.
  • Ensure safety regulatory requirements are understood and program compliance is achieved.
  • Collaborate with operations to design initiatives to improve safety performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead development, implementation and evaluation of safety programs with Safety Director.
  • Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local safety rules; recommend and communicate guidelines.

Job description

  • Responsible for the supervision and direction of safety in a geographic region on data center projects. Provides direction, leadership and management of safety activities, including decision making regarding program priorities and forecasting future needs.
  • Provides leadership to operations in development, implementation and administration of safety policies and safety training programs to meet employee and company needs. Serves as a liaison to resolve safety issues and to promote accident prevention and a safe work environment.
  • Is responsible to ensure safety regulatory requirements are understood and program compliance is achieved. Communicates information regarding proposed regulations, policies, goal setting, accident investigations and accident trends.
  • Understands issues associated with safety and operations environments. Works with operations personnel to design and implement initiatives to improve safety performance, reduce workforce injuries and illnesses and to maximize regulatory compliance.
  • In consultation with Safety Director, lead the development, implementation and evaluation of safety programs that meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local safety and health rules and other regulations. Recommend, author and communicate training, safety and health guidelines based on those rules and regulations.
Essential Education and Qualifications:
