Job summary

Concentric Power Services in North Carolina is seeking a Critical Power Level 4 Technician (non-IT) with extensive DC power and UPS experience. This leadership role supervises and trains Installers, designs custom power solutions, and delivers turnkey installations while prioritizing safety on energized equipment sites.

You will interact with clients and internal teams, manage site assessments, oversee daily reports and equipment, and ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Education: AAS Degree / Tech School or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of technician experience with DC Power and/or UPS equipment is required.
• 5 years’ experience in lead technician role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Experience in material handling environment is preferred, but not required.
• Extensive travel required - up to 80%
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Interact with people from all organizational levels, both inside and outside the company.
• Provide the highest quality of service possible to assure customer satisfaction.
• Timely reporting of all activities including service reports, expense reports, and maintenance reports to the customer.
• Being directly responsible for company assets, including a service vehicle, parts inventory, tools and test equipment.
• Functions with little direct supervision.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
