Job summary

Alpine Power Systems in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Lead Power Technician to service customer sites, evaluate needs, and design practical backup power solutions. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot DC power systems and batteries, read layouts and schematics, and travel to client sites as required.

A strong customer-service mindset and able to lift 70+ pounds are essential. Experience with DC power and battery systems, plus the ability to read basic drawings, will help you excel in this

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid drivers license with CDL ability.
  • Minimum 3 years DC power plant experience.
  • Ability to lift 70+ pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Visiting customer facilities to evaluate needs and develop solutions.
  • Installing all makes and models, small and large, battery and power systems.
  • Maintaining existing systems.
  • Troubleshooting battery systems and chargers.
  • Exceeding our customer’s expectations.
