Job summary

Batory Foods is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead the Distribution Center operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety, and quality standards. You will oversee inventory control, quality, logistics, and safety, driving process improvements across the facility.

The role requires 10+ years in warehousing with at least 6 years in supervision, plus strong MS Office, WMS experience, and a Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Equal opportunity employer and onsite position in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of warehouse experience with at least 6 years in a supervisory role.
• Advanced MS Office skills; Tableau, Visio, MS Project preferred.
• Experience with Data Collection, Metrics, and KPI tracking.
• WMS required; YMS, Billing, Labor experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently; experience in high-performance teams.
• Experience in Food and Beverage industry required.

Responsibilities

• Leads Distribution Center operations and ensures customer/vendor requirements meet policy, food safety, and quality standards.
• Directs inventory control, quality control, logistics, and safety within the facility.
• Develops and delivers DC goals and implements process improvements for productivity.
• Oversees staff orientation, evaluation, and development.
• Manages inventory levels, expenses, and loss prevention while maximizing revenue.
• Prepares data and KPI reports for leadership review.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives and productivity gains.
