Job summary

MP NEXLEVEL LLC in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks an Inventory/Materials Coordinator to manage ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies. You will monitor levels, track shipments, liaise with suppliers, and prepare purchase orders.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, MS Office proficiency, and ability to work in all weather. You will conduct cycle counts, audits, and help streamline warehouse processes while maintaining safety and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Understanding of materials used in construction or specific project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses; maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments, verifying packaging and accompanying documents.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Conduct and coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Address and resolve issues related to damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouses or storage areas.
• Coordinate and direct the work of any Inventory Specialists onsite.
• Recommend and create process improvements for streamlining inventory processes.
• Safety training as required by position.
• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
