Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Forklift Repair to ensure safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks within the facility. The role covers troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime and support warehouse operations.

Position Purpose:
The Maintenance Technician - Forklift Repair is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all powered industrial trucks within the facility. This role performs troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on forklifts and related material‑handling equipment to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted warehouse and production operations. The technician upholds safety standards, maintains accurate service records, and collaborates with operations teams to identify equipment needs and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
50% Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, as well as technical, mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic issues where needed. Understands and troubleshoots conveyor operating system logic
20% Performs preventative maintenance as well as necessary modifications on electric lift equipment, conveyor systems and buildings.
10% Provides equipment status report, including details of unusual maintenance problems.
10% Follows all safety guidelines established by manufacturer, Home Depot, or government agencies. Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards
10% Maintains safe and clean working environment, performing daily cleanup of work areas
