Job summary

Ross Stores seeks a Manager of DC Inventory Control & Quality to lead inventory control audits, data collection and reporting, and to drive improvements in DC performance. You will coordinate with engineering, finance and operations, manage teams, and develop action plans to reduce shrink and improve data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience.
• Deep knowledge of distribution center processing, planning, scheduling and quality control.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data using standard statistical techniques.
• Strong math skills and detail orientation.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling 40 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report IC metrics by operational processing area.
• Coordinate and plan merchandise flow through the DC.
• Supervise Inventory Control, Quality Auditors and Ticket Room staff.
• Attend production meetings and assist in other projects as assigned.
