Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Inventory Control professional to maintain accurate inventory values across RK stores and support teams. You will identify issues, perform bin audits, and assist with cycle counting to ensure precise stock levels and reliable reporting.

In this role you will use RF scan guns and host systems, collaborate with departments, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering proactive internal and external customer support.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with powered industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with Latitude systems is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory values for RK stores and internal teams.
• Identify, track, and communicate issues related to inventory accuracy.
• Perform bin audits and support cycle counting.
• Ensure timely and accurate flow of freight and complete PO audits.
• Use RF scan guns and desktop terminals to resolve system and inventory issues.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.
• Support teams with proactive customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Inventory Control, you will be responsible for accurate inventory values in our building and for our customers: RK stores. It is IC's responsibility to find, track, and communicate all issues relating to inaccurate inventory, processes, procedures, or disciplines and communicate these issues with proper leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

  • Responsible for the accuracy of bins in the working area through bin audits and appropriate cycle count cadence.

• • Ensures timely and accurate flow of freight through standard reporting.
  • Audits purchase orders before posting to the host (Oracle)
  • Responsible for using desktop terminals, RF scan guns, and all Microsoft functions to identify, resolve and communicate all system/inventory issues.
  • Responsible for compliance in process and procedure for all operational practices relating to all inventory management.

• • Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• • At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Previous experience with powered industrial equipment
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn latitude systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
