ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate fork trucks in a safe, efficient, and effective manner while unloading trucks and moving freight within the DC.
• Move incoming merchandise from truck to dock, and dock to correct stocking areas.
• Stock all rack merchandise and arrange rack surplus from zones in the appropriate manner.
• Set down rack surplus for zones so orders can be filled and replenishments can be made to stocking locations.
• Perform any miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck.
• Replenish outbound totes as needed, where applicable.
• Assist with maintaining mezzanine zones.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• Act as a trainer when designated: take ownership of the DC target training program, ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, documentation is complete, and new team members receive clear job duties and any departmental or procedural changes.
• All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Must work well in a team environment.
• Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED). (Desired)
• Experience operating various types of power equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
