Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to support the Area Manager in ensuring smooth operations across receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes. You will supply materials, equipment, and supplies to keep daily flows efficient and align with our values of People First and teamwork.

You will mentor a team, drive innovation, and lead projects that contribute to Rural King's growth while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of warehouse leadership experience.
  • Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to multi-task, coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Flexibility with hours including nights, weekends as business dictates.

RESPONSIBILITIESANDEXPECTATIONS

    • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, con erns, and issues promptly and effectively.

    • Assists in receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating and coordinating the operational and personnel policies and procedures.
    • Assists in warehouse operations by monitoring safety protocols.
    • Assists in inventory control levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
    • Assists in completing warehouse operational requirements and following up on work results.
    • Obtain certification on a forklift/pallet jack/high reach or other required equipment.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.20 per hour and is eligible for shift premium. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
