Responsibilities

As a Department Lead, you will support the Area Manager in ensuring the smooth flow of operations by supplying materials, equipment, and supplies for receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage the e opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
• Assists in receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating and coordinating the operational and personnel policies and procedures.
• Assists in warehouse operations by monitoring safety protocols.
• Assists in inventory control levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
• Assists in completing warehouse operational requirements and following up on work results.
• Obtain certification on a forklift/pallet jack/high reach or other required equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one year of warehouse leadership experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education .
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze , observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail - oriented manner.
• Ability to work independently without supervision .
• Flexibility with hours : the ability to work varied hours, days, nights , and weekends as business dictates.
