Job summary

TBC Corporation is hiring for a full-time DC Associate in Ohio. The role involves operating various MHE and RF scanning to fulfill customer orders and receive replenishment products in a distribution center. You will unload, locate, pick, and load goods while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have forklift certification preferred, RF scanner experience, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly. The position requires 18+ and a valid license, with pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally more than 50lbs.
• Employment is contingent upon pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE (Material Handling Equipment) safely and efficiently.
• Develop knowledge of products.
• Unload and put-away product using RF technology.
• Inspect inbound for overages and shortages (OSD).
• Pick and stage product; Load trucks.
• Maintain warehouse organization.
• Assist center to optimize operations and customer service.
• Participate in cycle counts or physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean work area and sanitation of the DC.
• Complete MHE reports per policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Center Manager.

Our DC Associate will perform operational activities within Distribution Center warehouse to achieve efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, and efficient and accurate receipt of delivery of replenishment product.

Responsibilities

• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put-away product utilizing RF (radio frequency) technology  
• Inspect inbound for OSD (overages and shortages)
• Pick and stage product
• Load truck(s)
• Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
• Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
• Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations
• Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Forklift certification preferred
• Experience with RF scanners preferred
• Safety 1st Mentality
• Prior distribution center experience preferred
• Prior material handling equipment experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
