Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a DC/Warehouse Associate to support picking, packing and staging of parts in our distribution center. You will use RF scanners, voice-picking, and pallet jacks to move goods while maintaining accurate records and a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays, with emphasis on reliability and safety. Physical work includes lifting up to 100 pounds and standing for long periods in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Able to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Read and interpret safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and stage parts in the distribution center.
• Use RF scanners and enter records.
• Move boxes and pallets with equipment (pallet jack, forklift).
• Keep work area neat, clean and hazard free.
• Support voice-picking system operations.
• Be reliable with attendance and perform other related duties as assigned.

Job DescriptionOur DC/Warehouse Associates are a vital part of our warehouse and assist in, but not limited to;pick pack and stage parts, utilize hand-held radio frequency devise (RF scanners), and move boxes throughout the distribution center.ResponsibilitiesMarks pallets with identifying store information.Uses the computer / RF to enter records.Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)Uses voice picking systemKeeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.Will be required to use a hand held radio frequency device (R.F.
