Job summary

TP Mechanical in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform distribution functions including receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, and basic forklift operation on 3rd shift.

You will load/unload trucks, stock materials, assemble kits, update BOM spreadsheets, and pull orders for job sites while keeping safety and organization a priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.
• Load/Unload trucks as needed.
• Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.
• Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.
• Drive company vehicle to vendors DC’s to pick up Will Call material.
• Stock and document material.
• Pulls orders for delivery to job sites. Ensures items pulled are correct and in working order.
• Operate sit down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.
• Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.
• Ensures cleanliness and organization in the warehouse is at optimal levels.
• All other duties as assigned.
