Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a DC Area Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, drive productivity, and lead a team with a strong emphasis on safety and engagement.

You will partner with Operations and HR to coach staff, meet production goals, and support business needs in a fast-paced distribution setting, using SAP and MS Office tools to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 80% of the time.

• Warehouse operations leadership with focus on safety, performance, and labor management
• Ability to monitor and achieve production goals (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (preferably SAP)
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
• Effective coaching, feedback, and performance management of associates
• Time record validation and workforce scheduling

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and listening

Expected Base Pay

#BDFHP Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, Etc. Opportunities: $65,000- $75,000
