Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Charlotte, NC seeks a highly experienced Oracle performance engineer to lead tuning across Exadata-based data platforms and pipelines. The role focuses on optimizing SQL, database objects, and workloads to improve throughput, latency, and scalability while interpreting Explain Plans and using AWR/ASH diagnostics to fix complex performance issues.

• Proven experience working with large-scale data platforms and systems handling massive data volumes.

• Experience with high-throughput transactional or analytical systems.
• Exposure to hybrid or multi-platform data architectures.
• Experience working closely with application teams to influence performance-aware development.
• Ability to mentor teams on performance engineering best practices.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
