Clean Team Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking a second shift Area Manager to oversee operations at multiple client locations. You will lead teams, manage budgets, and drive service delivery to meet contract requirements.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will train staff, monitor performance, and coordinate with clients to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a team lead or similar managerial role.
• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure world-class customer service while building continuity within teams at each location.
• Oversee daily operations performed at each location to ensure delivery of contracted services.
• Provide training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Preserve all equipment and order supplies to ensure teams have the resources to complete contract specifications.
• Maintain effective relationships and function as primary contact with clients to meet scope of work guidelines.
• Complete regular on-site inspections.
• Coordinate site-specific requests and address problems or complaints promptly.
• Ensure daily operations are within budget for each assigned contract.
• Communicate staffing needs with superiors and branch staffing coordinator.
• Sustain staff turnover within company expectation.
• Ensure quality and safety standards by ensuring staff is trained on all company policies, standards, and procedures.
• Look for and implement continuous improvements while encouraging the team to leverage new digital tools and ways of working to support brand goals.
• Attend daily meetings to discuss business updates, issues, and opportunities.
