Job summary

MOKAS Coffee & Eatery, a JRI Hospitality Brand, is hiring Team Members to welcome and serve guests with a hospitality-first approach in a fast-paced restaurant. You’ll greet guests, answer questions, make recommendations, and help ensure a friendly, efficient dining experience.

Roles include taking orders, operating the register, assisting across stations, and contributing to a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform fast-paced movements.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide helpful food, drink, and service recommendations.
• Prepare items and operate the register; support drive-thru and kitchen as needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant environment and assist teammates.
• Communicate guest needs to the team and supervisor.
• Work collaboratively to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Team Member Select Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Hospitality focused always, greeting guests, answering questions, and making helpful suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Takes pride in all aspects of their work, whether making sandwiches, brewing coffees, running the register, doing drive-thru, or focusing on cleanliness.
• Attentive in the Restaurant, sensing customer needs and keeping their manager and fellow team members informed on an ongoing basis.
• Prepares and delivers food and drinks with quality in mind, consistently meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
• A collaborative team member, always willing to play a role in making the work environment a warm and welcoming place.
• Recognizes how critical cleanliness and safety are to the Guest experience, the quality of the product and the success of the Restaurant.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older. Successful team members consistently demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service, dependability, attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork.
• Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility during the work shift, have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel.
• Have the ability to lift and move items frequently weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communications skills are required.
• Willingness to work all stations including lobby, front register, drive-thru, and kitchen positions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $9.00 per hour - $11.00 per hour per hour+ Tips
