Sittercity is seeking a daytime caregiver for an 8-year-old girl with Level 1 Autism and ADHD in the Independence Park area of Chicago. The role focuses on supervision, light meals, and supporting transitions between crafts, plus guiding her to the park two blocks away and simply spending time with her.

Occasional daytime coverage is needed while her family works, with transport from school to home a possible plus but not required. The two homes are in nearby locations due to divorce.

Job description

My 8 year old daughter has Level 1 Autism and ADHD. She was recently in the hospital and is home as we are working through the transition to therapeutic day school.

She attends her neighborhood school from 8-11 am and we need occasional daytime care to cover us while we work. She is bright (grade level) and creative. Loves K-Pop, arts & crafts, music and dance.

Duties include preparing meals and snacks, helping transition between craft projects (putting one away before getting another), accompanying her to the park two blocks away, and just hanging with her.

Transport from school to home might be helpful but not necessary. May need this at two locations as we are divorced. Both homes in Independence Park area.
