Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District is seeking a Day Custodian at Birchtree Charter School. The role runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 1.0 FTE, with a starting wage of $17.83 per hour and a 240-day calendar.

Duties include cleaning, basic maintenance, and security tasks to keep the school facilities safe and clean. The position requires a High School Diploma, Alaska driver’s license, and ability to perform physical tasks.

• Assists during events by setting up equipment and supervising areas.
• Maintains supplies and assists with stocking building materials.
• Performs security checks in evenings/weekends as needed.
• Delivers mail and supplies and tracks inventory of custodial equipment.
• Schedules changes to clocks and monitors alarm systems.
• Performs other custodial duties as directed.
