Cascade Spine Center is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse PreOp PACU to join the team. We provide a high quality, service-oriented environment for your surgical procedure, accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The RN PreOp PACU ensures continuity of care for patients emerging from anesthesia, performing assessments and planning for discharge while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Monday-Friday daytime schedule; no on-call, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• 1+ years of Registered Nurse experience in a clinical setting. Peri-operative experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon.
• Current BLS & ACLS accredited by AHA.
• The ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients undergoing surgery, with continual evaluation of condition and safety during recovery.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
