Job summary

First Watch Restaurants is seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager who loves mornings and has a passion for serving others. You will supervise both kitchen operations and the dining experience, coaching team members daily to deliver exceptional breakfast, brunch, or lunch service.

You will lead daily operations with a focus on quality, service standards, and staff development, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety while driving restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant operations and teams.
• Strong coaching and development abilities.
• Ability to coach staff through standard service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn and uphold You First culture and core values.
• Oversee daily operations to meet plans and maintain high standards.
• Follow recipes and source great ingredients to support the menu.
• Know sales and traffic goals and work to exceed them.
• Coach staff in the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table.
• Understand and apply the 10 Commitments in action.
• Respond quickly to customer and employee concerns.
• Communicate repair and maintenance needs and take ownership.
• Ensure food safety and train in safe handling policies.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates.
• Protect company assets including POS and equipment.
• Understand responsibilities of every restaurant position.
• Stop inappropriate behavior and address issues promptly.
• Recognize high performance and ensure accurate deposits.
• Complete admin duties and timely paperwork.
