Job summary

Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse in Urology for per diem, on-site duties at our Poughkeepsie, NY location. The RN will work under the Nursing Supervisor and Physicians to provide high-quality patient care and support multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements include NYS RN license, Infection Control and BLS, ACLS, and healthcare experience. On-site hours are weekdays, with responsibilities spanning clinical support, patient education, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license required.
• Infection Control Certificate and BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience in healthcare desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient visits, rooming patients and recording vitals.
• Perform select clinical tests and prepare specimens with proper documentation.
• Provide nurse visits including catheter changes and data collection per UTI symptoms.
• Support anesthesia-related procedures and pre/post-operative care.
• Triage by telephone, assess symptoms and schedule urgent or same-day visits.
