Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Salem, OR is seeking a Medical Courier for a Monday–Friday shift from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM, totaling 30 hours per week. You will deliver medical specimens and lab materials, coordinate with clinical staff, and maintain strict handling and documentation standards.

The role offers solid benefits starting day one, a predictable route, and the chance to support patient care through reliable, on‑time deliveries. Prior courier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage routes on the road.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and operate mobile devices/scanners.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company vehicle (non-CDL) and use scanners/route software.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
