Job summary

YMCA of West Bend is seeking a Daytime Lifeguard for a part-time role in West Bend, WI. The position requires morning and afternoon availability with some evenings/weekends possible, and a wage of $15/hour.

Under the Aquatics Director, you will ensure safety for all pool users, enforce rules, and perform lifeguard duties professionally. Required certifications must be maintained, and on-the-job trainings completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 15 years and ability to meet lifeguard duty requirements.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid/AED certifications and lifeguard certification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to enforce pool rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain required lifeguard certifications and equipment readiness.
• Enforce pool rules and safety policies and respond to emergencies.
• Provide timely reports and follow-ups; maintain records per YMCA and state agencies.
• Arrive early for shifts and participate in required trainings.
