Job summary

Right at Home is hiring daytime companion and personal caregiver staff for Marin County, CA. Available shifts range from 4–6 hours to 8–12+ hours, with flexible full- and part-time options. Priority given to HCA applicants but all are welcome.

Compensation includes premium pay, overtime on long shifts, and mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and accompanying clients to appointments.

• Must read, write, and understand English for job tasks.
• Access to reliable transportation to commute to assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, basic upkeep).
• Provide medication reminders and range of motion exercises as directed.
• Accompany or drive clients to appointments or errands.

Responsibilities:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living
• Performs housekeeping activities (light laundry, dishes, basic upkeep of home)
• Performs client-specific activities (medication reminders, range of motion exercises)
• Accompanies or drives clients to appointments or runs errands with clients

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of personal care caregiving experience preferred
• Have access to adequate transportation to get to and from the job
• Possess a valid driver's license if transporting clients or running errands for clients
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
