Job summary

Primary Care Partners, Inc. in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a part-time janitorial specialist for 27.5 hours per week. Shift 9:00am–3:00pm, with duties that ensure a clean, safe environment across outpatient facilities.

You will collaborate with supervisors and in-house maintenance, perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and disinfect surfaces to protect against Covid. OSHA and bloodborne pathogen training is required or provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety protocols and janitorial skills.
• Willingness to be trained in OSHA housekeeping standards and bloodborne pathogens.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Keep facilities clean and maintain a professional atmosphere; perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning.
• Monitor and clean spills in lobbies, restrooms, and exam rooms.
• Replenish toilet tissue, paper towels, and soap in restrooms.
• Monitor and clean windows in lobbies and doors.
• Maintain breakroom supplies and stock janitorial items bi-weekly.
• Quarterly cleaning of refrigerators in breakrooms.
• Extract carpets and upholstered chairs as needed.
• Clean exam rooms as needed.
• Disinfect all pertinent surfaces for Covid-19.
• Receive and stock janitorial supplies bi-weekly.
• Assist FOD staff when others are out of office.

Salary Range: $15.16 - $18.16 Hourly

Shift: Day

Hours: Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Job Summary

To access and address janitorial and safety issues. Work in collaboration with supervisor and in-house maintenance personnel

Duties/Responsibilities

• Keep the facilities clean and maintain a professional atmosphere. Do required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning.
• Monitor and clean all spills / urine / vomit etc. from Lobbies, Restrooms and Exam Rooms.
• Replenish Toilet Tissue / Paper Towels / Soap in Building Restrooms
• Monitor and clean all windows in lobbies, doors etc.
• Maintain Breakroom Supplies in all breakrooms in the building (Paper Towels, Kleenex, Soap etc.)
• Quarterly cleaning of Refrigerators in all Breakrooms.
• Extract Carpet and Upholstered Chairs as needed.
• Clean Exam Rooms as needed.
• Cleaning all pertinent surfaces with disinfectant for Covid Virus
• Receive and Stock Janitorial Supplies bi-weekly.
• Help cover FOD staff when out of office as time permits

Work Experience

Knowledge of safety and have good janitorial skills

Education Requirements

Must have the education or be willing to be trained in the OSHA Standards Regulations in regards to housekeeping, as well as Bloodborne pathogens.

General Requirements

Must also be able to work under pressure; be detail oriented; have good work ethics and communication skills and must have the ability to work well with supervisors

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Part-Time at 27 ½ hours. Day shift position (9:00am 3:00pm with a 30 minute lunch). Expected hours of work may change at any time with or without notice.

Risk Level

High exposure with personal protective equipment required

Working Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment with outpatient medical exam rooms.
