Job summary

Haven Home Care in Summit County, Ohio, is hiring Home Health Aides to assist older adults at home. Shifts run from 6AM to 8PM with at least 20 hours per week; there are no overnight shifts, and you’ll travel between clients. A driver’s license and own car are required.

Training pathways are available for those new to the field. Pay depends on qualifications: STNA $18/hour; HHA certificate or prior experience $16–$18/hour; private-pay clients may earn $19–$20/hour.

Qualifications

• STNA license required or active/expired status acknowledged.
• HHA certificate or experience eligible for rate of pay.
• Free 32-hour training available for those with no experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in their homes with bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning and errands.
• Provide companionship and ensure safety during daily activities.
• Coordinate with families and care teams to match client needs.
