Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Emergency Medicine Physicians in Egg Harbor Township, NJ to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This role offers a no-call, no-nights, Monday–Friday daytime schedule with a focus on procedural patient care and autonomy.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO license, are eligible for licensure in New Jersey, and can practice under the independent contractor model with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license eligibility or to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures are part of daily practice.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting.
