Job summary

Mayo Clinic Health System is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for a daytime role with no evenings or nights. The position offers a collaborative regional practice across Southeast Minnesota, with subspecialty integration and a focus on high-quality interpretation.

Join a team of 14 radiologists and work across Albert Lea, Austin, Owatonna, and Red Wing using unified EMR/PACS and Mayo imaging protocols. Weekend daytime coverage is shared, with after-hours handled by a separate Mayo Clinic Health

Qualifications

• ABR board eligible or board certification is required.
• Medical licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin is required.
• Fellowship training in radiology with subspecialty integration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice as a general radiologist with subspecialty integration and broad study interpretation.
• Work with a unified EMR and PACS and Mayo Clinic imaging protocols to balance workload.
• Interpret studies in a dedicated reading office to support focus and high-quality readings.
• Leverage AI tools to support workflow, prioritization, and diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with shared weekend daytime coverage (6 weekends/year).
• No scheduled evenings or nights; weekend shifts can be done remotely.
• Participate in a high-functioning team-based environment with case distribution and physics support.
• Perform light procedures including joint injections and breast biopsies, with flexible involvement.
• Enjoy broad clinical exposure and ongoing subspecialty skill development with access to 3T MRI and PET/CT.
