Job summary

Georgia Crown Distributing Co. in Columbus, GA is seeking a Daytime Delivery Driver to complete deliveries to pre-assigned customers and support drivers as needed.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, log defects, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain safety with FMCSA hours of service compliance. The role requires at least 1 year of delivery driving, a valid DOT medical certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year prior delivery/driving experience with box truck or larger type vehicle.
• Must be able to read, write and use basic math skills to interpret and calculate changes to invoices.
• Must be able to pass background check and meet motor vehicle record standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries to pre-assigned customers daily. Routes may change.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and log defects.
• Assist other drivers or perform additional deliveries when required.
• Observe all federal and state traffic laws and drive safely.
• Deliver in all weather conditions unless unsafe by management.
