Join Our Team: Daytime Caregiver Opportunity in Tooele, Utah

Ability and Choice Services, Inc. (ACS) is on the lookout for compassionate individuals to join our team as a Daytime Caregiver. Whether you're a seasoned CNA, a professional in the nursing home sector, or new to the human services field, this role offers a chance to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Both entry level and Lead positions are available.

About the Role
  • Location: We have openings across the Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake County, and Tooele Counties.
  • Schedule: Full-time (35-40 hours/week) and part-time (<25 hours/week) positions available. Shifts are typically 8 hours, ending no later than 7:00 pm. Full-time roles include occasional overtime opportunities.
  • Responsibilities: As a Daytime Caregiver, you will assist individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries in their daily activities. This includes medication administration, personal hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping. Additionally, you'll play a key role in mentoring, teaching new skills, and supporting community involvement.
  • For select positions a vehicle, phone and laptop/tablet may be provided by the company
Who Should Apply?
  • Anyone 18 years or older with a passion for serving people with developmental disabilities.
  • Candidates with a smartphone, reliable transportation, a good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Individuals who can pass a background check and drug test.
  • A CNA qualification is beneficial but not mandatory - we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
