Job summary

HomeGrown is looking for a friendly Busser (Front of House Team Member) in Rogers, AR. You’ll help maintain a fast, clean dining room and support servers by pre-bussing and bussing tables, with a daytime schedule finishing by 3:30 pm.

This hourly role includes tip sharing and benefits for full-time team members, with a culture centered on kindness, teamwork, and development. No dinner shifts—join us to start your day right.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow directions exactly as expected.
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day.
• Attention to detail.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds as many as 20 times per day.
• Ability to carry bus tubs full of dishes and miscellaneous items from the tables, throughout the entirety of the restaurant repetitively, for periods of up to 6 hours.
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with the host/hostesses, servers, bartenders, and management team to ensure tables are updated in our seating system.
• Pre-bussing tables in the dining room when all dirty tables are clean.
• Bussing/cleaning tables inside the restaurant as well as on the patio, and helping clean the bar top.
• Replace sanitizer in spray bottles and buckets as needed to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize work areas before, during and after shift.
• Assist with stocking glassware, water bottles, plate ware, silverware, dishes, etc. as needed.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
• Complete daily restaurant maintenance program.
