Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe is seeking energetic servers to provide friendly and responsive service in a vibrant brunch environment. You will be part of a team that aims to create an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

As a Ruby Krewe member, you will embody the brunch lifestyle, lift trays safely, and maintain upbeat guest interactions while supporting a fast-paced dining room during day shifts. Benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant languages of our Guests.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point of sale system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours.
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests.
• Embodies brunch life and gives guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans.
• Communicate with guests and teammates to ensure smooth service.
• Uphold dining room procedures and safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as needed to support the team.
