Recovering Hope Treatment Center in Mora, MN is seeking a Daycare Teacher Substitute to provide vital care and education for children while supporting families on their journey to recovery.

You will lead engaging activities, provide meals and daily routines, and document each child’s progress. The role emphasizes a safe, nurturing environment and collaboration with parents on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• 24 credits in child care-related field and experience as an assistant teacher preferred.
• Must be able to lift children up to 60 lbs and engage in active daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage children through activities and educational lessons.
• Provide loving care during meals, personal care, and daily interactions.
• Observe and document each child’s progress to address emotional, social, and physical needs.
• Create a safe space by maintaining classroom safety and serving as a positive role model.
• Collaborate with parents to support parenting and reinforce routines on Saturdays.
