• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily updates
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with our standards
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support program goals

Loving Hands Daycare Center is a Christian Daycare/Preschool (a ministry of City of Hope International) in Kearny, NJ is looking for a passionate and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our dedicated team! Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans according Christian curriculum and daily activities that promote child development

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong communication, patience, interpersonal skills and good work ethics
• Strong classroom management skills
• Warm, caring, and enthusiastic attitude toward children and families
• Consistent with Christian values and education
