Job summary

LITTLE SCHOLARS JOURNEY in Chicago is seeking an experienced Daycare Teacher to support children's cognitive, social, and physical development in a nurturing environment.

You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, maintain daily schedules, provide basic care, and communicate with parents about progress. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, organized, and CPR/First Aid certified, with a passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Experience in daycare/childcare, with ability to manage routines.
• Solid understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing demeanor when engaging children.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required or expected.

Responsibilities
