Job summary

The Learning Experience - Alamo Ranch Pkwy. San Antonio, TX is hiring a Teacher for our Infant classroom. You will lead, mentor co-teachers, and create a safe, nurturing environment that supports early learning using our LEAP Curriculum.

You will communicate with parents, participate in staff training, and contribute to enrollment goals while fostering a love of learning in young children. Qualifications include at least 1 year of teaching experience and a HS diploma or GED; CDA or higher in ECE

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED; CDA or higher in ECE preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; provide feedback.
• Manage the classroom to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to inspire learning.
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children as appropriate.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate with parents about children's latest adventures and progress.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement with staff.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster learning through play.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
