Job description

Overview

The position is Monday-Friday 7:15am-3:15pm. You will assist with all children in our center ages 1-5 years old. Throughout the day you will rotate classes. All of our students are in classroom based on their age. When a teacher is off, you will be responsible for covering that class for the day.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE ALL CLEARANCES OR WILLING TO OBTAIN
• Current Criminal background
• Current FBI Clearance
• Current Mandated Reporter Certificate
• Current Child Abuse Clearance
• Current Photo ID
• Current NSOR certificate
• Stars Orientation Required Training
• Required Health & Safety Updated Training ON BETTER KID CARE WEBSITE
• PA Required Health and Safety for Centers-Group Child Care Part 1 (3 Hours)
• PA Required Health and Safety for Centers-Group Child Care Part 2 (3 Hours)
• 2 Hours child development training (annually) UNDER THE S1 CORE COMPETENCIES
• Required Annual Child Development Professional Development courses
• Annual 2 hour child development training

Other Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Health Assessment & TB shot
• Two Professional Reference letters (non family members)
• Required Health & Safety training certificate
• Min. 12 hours current child care training hours

Experience

At least 2 years working in a licensed facility. (Must be confirmed on Employee Verification Document)
