Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in our care, indoors and outdoors.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage children (arts, crafts, games, storytelling).
• Communicate with parents/guardians about daily activities, meals, and concerns.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Diaper changing and bathroom assistance.
• Provide emotional support and guidance for social interactions.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operation and curriculum implementation.

## Description**Job Summary:**We are seeking a nurturing and attentive daycare caregiver to join our team. The daycare caregiver will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for children under our care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.**Daycare Caregivers have the opportunity to work seasonally part or full time, or there will be opportunities to work between seasons into year-round.****Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Supervise and monitor the safety of children in our care, both indoors and outdoors.* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage children, including arts and crafts, games, and storytelling.* Follow daycare policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all children.* Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including cleaning toys, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing materials.* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's day, including activities, meals, and any concerns or issues that arise.* Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.* Diaper changing and bathroom assistance.* Provide emotional support and guidance to children as they navigate social interactions and develop interpersonal skills.* Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare and the implementation of our curriculum.## Qualifications**Requirements:*** High school diploma or equivalent.* Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is preferred.* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations.* Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.* Ability to lift and carry children and/or heavy objects as needed.* Must pass a background check.
