Job summary

Labatt Food Service is seeking a Backhaul Utility to support unloading, breaking down pallet loads, selecting pallets and loading routes, and moving products with a pallet jack and forklift.

This entry-level role requires no prior experience and offers opportunities for advancement. You will work in dry, refrigerated, and freezer warehouse environments across five distribution centers in Texas and New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; no experience required.
• Able to work in dry, refrigerated, and freezer temperatures.
• Requires valid ID/driver's license and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with unloading and breaking down pallet loads.

• Running product to designated areas with a pallet jack/center-ride.
• Putting away product into rack locations using a forklift.
• Must work in various temperatures of the warehouse (dry, refrigerated, freezer).

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.

Backhaul Utility Responsibilities

• Assisting with unloading and breaking down pallet loads
• Selection of pallets and loading line routes
• Helping with running product to the designated areas with a pallet jack/center-ride
• Putting away product into the rack locations using a forklift
• Requires to work in various temperatures: dry, refrigerated, and freezer (0-10 degrees) sections of the warehouse

Backhaul Utility Qualifications

• Entry Level - no experience required - we will help you start and build a career!
• Must be able to work in various temperatures
• Any of the following previous experiences is a plus! - Warehouse worker, Warehouse associate, package handler, order selector, manufacturing, factory worker, construction, general labor, laborer, landscaping, shipping and receiving, material handler, or any job where you work with your hands!
• Must bring a valid state-issued ID or driver's license, and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday from 6:00 am to finish, occasional Saturdays
